Picture research is a huge part of my job, and something I love to do - I am a detective at heart and will not give up until I have found the right picture. All these images were researched, sourced and licensed by me to illustrate various editorial features. I also wrote the captions and credits relating to all the images - an essential skill of a picture editor.
