As picture editor of The Dish at the Sunday Times Magazine, I spent a couple of years commissioning food shoots with some outstanding photographers, food stylists, food writers and chefs. Together with the art director, I conceptualised, briefed and produced all aspects of the shoot. Art directing often took several days of being on set, managing the production and workflow, but it was a delicious period of work.
